Hello and welcome to Concours PD. My Name is Stephen Wines, founder and lead detailer for Concours PD. To fully know and understand Concours PD, it helps to know me.

Born in South Eastern Pennsylvania and growing up in and around cars, It was almost a foregone conclusion I would work in the automotive field. I remember working in the garage with my dad and being trackside as he raced his Formula Vee. This early exposure piqued my interest in the automotive world. As a kid, Being trackside, I fondly remembered the smells of gas, tires, and oil – and the sounds of cars at their limit.

A few more years went by before I purchased my first vehicle, a 1996 Chevy Baretta, which, at the time, I thought was pretty cool- I now know better. The Baretta was also my first interaction with an auction, passing on a, by all means, better K-car to buy the sleeker-looking Baretta with the bigger v-6 engine. The Baretta was a nonstop headache, but I loved it! I often had to spend the weekends repairing it just so I could get back and forth to school, never mind that the school was within walking distance from my house. After all, that car meant freedom!

Though it would take many years of trial and error with different career paths, a little over ten years ago, I discovered what I am passionate about and am also very good at. That passion is the correction and preservation of unique automobiles. I have spent those ten years honing that craft to become a well-trusted professional among my clients and their friends. That passion has led me to work on unique vehicles and with fantastic clients. I consider myself very lucky to be a part of automotive history in the way I am, preparing and preserving these vehicles for generations to come.
